Restoring password of UBUNTU



Itispossibilitythatweforgotpasswordofour Ubuntusystem.Wewillnothavetoworrywecanrestorepasswordof Ubuntusystem.Torestoreyour Ubuntupassword,youwillneedtouse�Recoverymode�.Tostartrecoverymodewehavetopressshiftkeyassoonascomputerstartedoritsystemcandirectlydisplayoptionforrecoverymodwhensystemisnotdisplayingrecoverymodeoptionthenuseshiftkey.Itwilldisplaysscreenasshowninfollowingfigure1.

Whensystemdisplaysrecoverymodeoptionselectusingarrowkeybuttonsandpressenter.Mostofthetimetherecoverymodeissecondoptioninoptionlist.Nowwehavetowaitforsystemtodisplayterminalmode.Beforethissystemasksforuserselectuserasrootthenpressenter.Afterthatterminalscreenwillappear.
