VueScan Pro is a program for working with scanners. Can work with internal color depth, supports automatic and manual configuration of most parameters and batch scan mode. Supports more than 1850 models of scanners with a certain advantage in the direction of slide scanners - Nikon, Minolta, Polaroid, Microtek, Epson. Of great interest is the function of saving the scanners raw data to a file (raw file) and then processing this data when the device is turned off, which eliminates the need to re-scan the originals and increases the resource of the equipment.
VueScan is especially useful when working with transparent originals (negatives, slides), because the program contains information about the color characteristics of more than 150 types of films. It is, first of all, a mask of color negativity, which can vary greatly among different films and manufacturers. The program provides a direct selection of the mask from the list of common films, as well as the ability to manually adjust the color components of the mask layer. Custom settings can be saved to a special file, which allows you to create individual profiles for each type of work.
