The Trojan may perform the following actions:
Clear the XMBPSP.xml contents in shared preference
Configure the XMBPSP.xml file to send SMS to 81211 or 81308
Set the device to silent mode
Delete SMS received from 81211
Open network connections
Block incoming SMS, encode the body of the message, and post them to the above URLs
Send SMS to 81211 or 81308 if the first ten incoming SMS contain the strings "BD MULTIMEDIA" or "code"

In this tutorial, Ill be showing you the easiest way of finding out malicious applications installed on your PC that transfer data using the internet without you knowing it.

As stated in the title, well be using TaskManager and CMD for the purposes of this tutorial.

1. To get started, open up your TaskManager by right clicking your TaskBar and selecting TaskManager or just hit CTRL+ALT+DEL to get it open.

2. Once that is done, click the "Processes" tab of your TaskManager and click View -> Select Columns -> Make sure that "Process Identifier(PID)" is ticked.

3. Now click the PID column to make sure that all the processes are sorted in a specific order. This step is not necessary, but it will make it easier for you to detect processes using their IDs.

Once youve done that right, were going to move on to part 2 of our tutorial, which is using CMD to view established connections.

Assuming you know how to open up CMD, Im just going to rush through step 1.
1. Start -> Run -> CMD
OR
Just type in cmd in the searchbar if youre running a system powered by Windows7.

2. Once cmd is open, I want you to type in "netstat -ano".
Your result should be something like this:

3. Now what were interested in are only the connections with the state "ESTABLISHED".
Isolate them out and look for the PID right next to them. There will be many connections with "ESTABLISHED" state, youll have to repeat the following steps for all of them.

This is the fun part. Now go back to the TaskManager and look for the name of the process(es) that has the same PID(s) as the one you found with the ESTABLISHED connection(s).

In the above case, its a safe and trusted application known as Dropbox, so Im good. But incase you find a process which you do not know, if its something like svchost.exe that youre sure is infected, right click the process and select "Open File Location".

Now all you have to do is right click the file and scan it using your AV or upload it to an online scanner such as VirusTotal.com and check if its infected.

Its as easy as that.

Previewing Android L on Nexus 7 2012 through MultiROM!

Disclaimer: Before you start anything, you must know that I take no liability for anything that would happen to your device as a result of you following this guide and/or any of the instructions from the links that will follow.

The new Android L (5.0) has been recently announced by Google, and if you own a Nexus 7 2012 tablet, than this is your chance to try the newest version of Android on your device. Please note that this is nothing official, it is just an port from the Android L emulator with the proper Android 4.4 binaries included. Therefore, you should expect frequent force closes, poor performance overall and lots of other problems.

Here are the general steps you need to follow:

1) First of all, the tablet must have an unlocked bootloader, with a custom recovery installed on it. This is a great guide thatll help you achieve that: link.

2) Then, you must install MultiROM, it will allow you to boot multiple ROMs on your tablet so that if you feel Android L is too unstable, you can easily boot the other ROM: link.

3) Finally, download the Android L files and gapps, and flash everything in MultiROM by following these instructions: link.

If you see a .zip file named repacked-something (repacked4.zip at the time of writing this article), then it needs to be flashed in MultiROM, unless the last link states otherwise. Do not follow what other websites or articles say (they are not even giving direct links to the original authors, which is unfair), some of them advise to flash repacked4.zip directly through recovery, that will not work and you risk bricking your device that way.

So that was all I had to say. I am currently running Android L myself, it is unexpectedly stable, Ive seen relatively few force closes, but performs poor in terms of speed. There is probably barely any acceleration whatsoever (YouTube videos wont start at all). The animations are probably accelerated at less than even 30 frames per second and with more than several programs in the multitasking menu, you are going to see huge performance issues.

For the apps that are not available (Chrome, Facebook etc): go on Google, and search, for example, "Chrome apk". It will give you the apk for that app, which can be easily installed. Yes, it can be altered/have malicious code injected but.. this is the only way you can get these apps.

Clib System function fails in Solaris 11

Clib.System functions are commonly used to invoke system process or batch/shell files etc. This function is having some compatibility issues with Solaris 11 or above.

When you migrate Clib.system is returning some error codes like 32512 or 9.
This is because of Siebel is referring some 64 bit libraries instead of 32 bit.

To over come this issue kindly follow below steps:

1. Make a backup copy of $SIEBEL_ROOT/bin/siebmtshw.

2. Edit siebmtshw file

3. Change LD_PRELOAD to LD_PRELOAD_32

4. export LD_PRELOAD_32

5. Save the file

6. Take clean bounce of siebel services and a machine bounce as well.

By this way the library would be preloaded for 32-bit binaries
